It can be hard to deal with changes in our lives especially if it is out of our control. Sometimes we don't notice our capabilities until we experience situations that cause chaos in our daily lives impacting our relationships with ourselves and others. Whether it is a positive or negative change, having a neutral and nonjudgmental person in our support system can clarify our current coping skills and see what we want improvement or strengthening in. While I work with various issues, my primary case load consists of individuals and couples struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and lack of motivation to pursue goals and interests. I also work with people with physical disabilities and emotional hardships that go along with it.
